Choir Pops Concert – Admission

Dear CHS Choir Parents and Students,

Just a reminder that admission of $5 will be charged for tomorrow night’s concert.  There is a family maximum of $20 if all of an immediate family purchase tickets at the same time.  The auditorium doors will open at 7 PM, choir members are to arrive at 6:30.  It will be a wonderful final concert.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Pops Concert Attire Information

Dear CHS Choir Parents,

 

As we approach our final concert, we want to send some information to you.  This is a Pops Concert and will be somewhat different than our previous concerts of the year.

 

1.   The Concert will begin at 7:30 on May 20.  The auditorium will open at 7 PM.  The students are to arrive at 6:30 PM.
2.    $5 Admission will be charged.  There will be a family maximum of $20 if all of your family arrives to purchase tickets at the same time.
3.    Choir members will wear the following:

 

Bella Voce – Blue Jeans, Close-Toed Bright Shoes, Pink Solid Top with no logos

All Men – Blue Jeans, Red Solid Shirts with no logos Optional Belt Buckles for A Cappella Men

Kantorei – Blue Jeans, Close-Toed Bright Shoes, Blue Solid Top with no logos

A Cappella Women – Blue Jeans, Closed-Toed Black Shoes, Black Solid Top with no logos

Two Coppell Choir Directors Named to Leadership Posts

Congrats to Mrs. Allison Hartzell for assuming the duties of Middle School Coordinator (2 Year Term) and to Mr. Joshua Brown for being named High School Coordinator Elect for Region 20 (4 Year Term). These positions are in addition to their responsibilities as Choral Directors in Coppell.

Mrs. Hartzell has served the last two years as Middle School Coordinator elect and will now serve the Region by organizing and managing auditions and contests.

Mr. Brown will serve as HIgh School Coordinator Elect for two years and assume the duties as High School Coordinator for the following two years. His duties will including organizing the 9/10 Honor Choir Auditions and performances and assist with the District and Region Choir auditions and performances.

Congratulations to both of these directors for this honor! Way to go Coppell Choirs!

Vivace Parent Information – Important Please Read

Dear Vivace! Parents,

 

Signs:

We need a parent to update the signs with new dates and put up at CISD campus (CMS North, East and West as well as around CHS).

 

Reserved Tickets:

Last chance to purchase reserved tickets will be at the May 20 All Choir Pops Concert.  They will be $10 for everyone.  You can pay by cash, check, credit.

 

Choir Crew Shirts:

The money has been turned in and we will order soon.  They should be here the week of the show.

 

Show Program:

1. Students need to send Bio 140 words or less (we will encourage in class, but if parents could help, that would be great!)

2. Ads – Parents submit words and photos for ads to the address below.

1/4 page 5.5 x 2.75 – $20

1/2 5.5 x 4.25 – $40

full 5.5 x 8.5 – $70

Please pay by check or cash to the Booster Box.

 

Deadline 2 weeks prior to show (May 16th)

Meals for dress rehearsal and Friday show:

 

We need parents to bring dinner for the Thursday dress rehearsal and Friday show night.  Dinner should be delivered by 5pm. Plan for 30 people to cover all of Vivace, directors and crew.

 

Thursday:  Main dish (2 parents), side ( 2 parents), side (2 parents), water bottles (1 parent), dessert (2 parents)

 

Friday:  Main dish (2 parents), side (2 parents), side (2 parents), water bottles (1 parent), dessert (2 parents)
