Region and 9/10 Audition Results

Dear Singers and Parents,

First of all, we both want to thank everyone for all of the work done today. It was an enormous undertaking to host this contest and it would not have been possible without everyone of you. Singers, we are extremely proud of your work, which greatly showed at this competition. This year, we have 111 of our singers that will be singing in one of the region choirs. Congratulations to all! We are proud of you!

A Cappella Information for TOMORROW

Dear A Cappella Parents and Singers,

Tomorrow is our American Journey Concert at First Methodist Ft. Worth.  Please help us remind your singer to bring their concert attire to school with them tomorrow in some type of a travel bag.  They will be able to come into the choir room before school to drop off their uniforms.

Also, since tomorrow we will be rehearsing off-campus, we ask that singers wear normal school clothing and not the pajamas (which are part of the Homecoming Week).  Any singer not in normal school clothing will not be able to attend this concert.  Here is the rough schedule for the event:

A Lunch – Choir Eats A Lunch

Noon – Report to CHS Choir Room with all your music in a black folder with a pencil

12:45 – Depart for FUMC Ft. Worth

1:30 – 5:00 – Rehearsals

5:00 – Dinner/Change Clothes (Students who cannot eat pizza will need to bring their own food)

6:15 – Pictures of each choir with composers

7:00 – Concert Begins

8:45 – Load Buses and Depart for CHS

9:30 – Arrive at CHS

All singers have been excused from their classes both at CHS and NT@C.

Admission to this concert is free. We highly encourage you to come hear your student perform with these world-renown musicians.  Please let us know if you have any questions.
