Choir Contest Volunteer Needs

Dear CHS Choir Parents,

On March 26th all of the curricular choirs will be headed to UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest.  We normally need a small number of volunteers for each choir.
This year we are asking for the following chaperones for each choir:
Men’s Choir: 2 Chaperones needed – Meet at CHS at 6:30 am – Return to CHS at 10:30 AM
Bella Voce: 3 Chaperones needed – Meet at CHS at 8:15 am – Return to CHS at 12:00 noon
Kantorei: 2 Chaperones needed – Meet at CHS at 11:45 am – Return to CHS at 7:30 PM (bring money for Fast Food Dinner)
A Cappella: 2 Chaperones needed – Meet at CHS at 11:45 am – Return to CHS at 7:30 PM (bring money for Fast Food Dinner)
You should be able to sign up by emailing, or clicking on the “Volunteer Now” Button on the front page of our website
We would need these chaperones to ride the bus to and from Duncanville that day and be present during the times we are at the contest site.  Oftentimes these duties include helping students get their things into carts for storage, holding cell phones, assisting with uniforms, taking care of a sick choir member, and anything else that may come up during the day.
Parent volunteers help make our program run smoothly and you are making our lives much less stressful with how you have handled this duty this year.  Thank you for all the work you have done!  Have a wonderful break!
