Upcoming A Cappella Events

Dear A Cappella Parents,

Thanks for attending the concert last night.  We want to be sure you are aware of some exciting information regarding your student’s participation in the A Cappella Choir coming up this Fall.

First, we have been invited to be a part of a project which is call An American Journey.  Your singer will have the opportunity to work with three of the most respected composers in the United States here next Tuesday, October 14th.  Here is the rough schedule:

A Lunch – Choir Eats A Lunch

Noon – Report to CHS Choir Room

12:45 – Depart for FUMC Ft. Worth

1:30 – 5:00 – Rehearsals

5:00 – Dinner/Change Clothes (Students who cannot eat pizza will need to bring their own food)

6:15 – Pictures of each choir with composers

7:00 – Concert Begins

8:45 – Load Buses and Depart for CHS

9:30 – Arrive at CHS

You will not want to miss hearing this concert.  Very few groups have the honor of working with these composers.  We are privileged to be a part of this project!

Second, we have been invited to perform at the Majestic Theatre on November 11th for a Veterans’ Day Movie Premiere of Travis: A Soldier’s Story.  Our choir will be performing with a semi-finalist from Season 10 of American Idol.  You can purchase your tickets to hear this performance online at www.coppellchoir.com/tickets.

Also, the A Cappella Choir will also be performing on Friday Evening (November 21st) of the Madrigal Feast to commemorate the 20th Annual Feast.

As always these and all other events are available online on our calendar at www.coppellchoir.com.
